The Village is built around a simple idea: remarkable public art should be easy to stumble upon. The collection includes large-scale sculptures and smaller discoveries, with seasonal changes that reward a return visit.
South Padre Island master sand sculptor Lucinda “Sandy Feet” Wierenga conceived the Village, bringing together artists from the island, Texas and around the world. Their work turns water and sand into something that feels impossible, then invites everyone to see it for free.
